How does a web page works though each layers ?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
web page is linked to all layers in osi model
application layer : user interference is present in this
layer.and communication partner identification is possible
in this layer
presentation layer : webpage data
format,encryption,translation,and compression will takes place
session layer : to keep data stream separate.initialization
of connection, maintaining the connection and terminating the
connection.
transport layer : port no: and socket no: assignment are
done in this layer.
network layer : logical address for webpage, path
determination, and routing protocol is done to routing the
webpage in different networks are different network protocols.
datalink layer : flow control mechanism will take place and
parity and crc.
physical layer : convert the data into bits and transport
the data through physical media.
i hope this thing is right ..........

Hi,
Web Page is linked to all the 7 layers of OSI model first
comes Application Layer in which a program is feeded
related to webpage design and model and created in Source
and to reach destination webpage needs to the data to be
linked and this layer is called as Datalink layer and to
transfer this data trasport layer is required and to reach
data on webpage it requires physical layer which includes
peripheral devices like LanCard,RJ45 Jack and Cat5 Cable
and requires a dedicated Line for connectivity between
different Networks and this layer is called as Network
Layer and after crossing all these layers the data is
presented in the form of a Webpage on Destination and this
layer is notified as Presentation Layer where one can view
webpage data.So it has to cross all the 7 layers to reach
destination and with out these 7 layers nothing is
possible. The one who has a good concept on OSI layer can
only understand how data is tranfered and presented in the
form of webpage from source to destination.Without these 7
layers nothing is possible .
