i have cracked sbi po.interview to be held on 4th october2010.
i am vry nervous abt the gd as i have not participated in
any gd before.kindly help me abt its preparation.i m
assistant in sbi.

Hi my name is piyush shukla i have left OBC (PO) and
presently working in bank of baroda as PO and going for
interview of sbi PO on 29/10. my suggestion for you is be
confident and bold because what ever you have been carrying
since your birth can not be re prepared but just put your
best.

Firstly,No one can predict the GD Topic as i attended for gd
in SBI associates ( I was shocked),I too got nervous and
paranoid but dont be.Do what ever it takes to be positive.
Secondly,If you dont have sufficient knowledge about the
topic .. never ever start the GD.If you have partial i.e
some important facts or ideas .. than you can start the
GD(It is a real advantage to start a topic).If you dont have
any knowledge than plz stay calm and listen and understand
to everything you hear in GD.It is important that you
understand what is what?( Be bold in voice and just speak
what you understood and agree or disagree to what your
fellow candidates said) Make what you can with what you have.
Speak in small sentences and keep the eye contact.. Make
everyone nod........if you can..

Have you got hall tickets of UBI Pos. There is some doubt regarding the english test. It is mentioned as only qualifying. But the qualifying marks percentage is not given. It is mentioned that bank will decide the pass marks. Added to that the the maximum marks is mentioned in the section as 50. It is added to the total marks of 225. As you know generally banks will not mention marks for the english objective test. I am in dilemma regarding for how many marks we have to answer the english test. Please just have a look into the booklet of UBI po exam.
