Yes,right can be waived,subject to the following conditions
1) There must be a provision in the Articles of the Company
2) The wiver should be reached the Company before of
declaration.
3) waiver should be in writing having validity of one year
in other words a fresh waiver is needed for every tear.

A share holder has right to waive his dividend..he should
addess to CS or Director to for waiver of right. it can be
waived any time before payment of dividend.
