Hi,
I just have a question regarding my PhD admission with North
Dakota State University without assistantship. I have
already completed my Masters from NDSU and was working in
the US for a couple of years, I however returned to India
last year. I was in touch with my guide concerning pursuing
my PhD at NDSU. I have now been offered admission at NDSU
for the PhD program for Fall 2010, and I have also finalized
my research area (extension of Master's research area),
however I have not been given an official assistantship /
aid letter from my department. My department is however
saying that I will be definitely offered assistantship if I
land up at NDSU in Fall.
My concern is now about the Visa interview in which I will
have to show personal liquid funds for 5 years of doctoral
study. Can you please suggest a way by which I wont be asked
to show 5 years of funding..since I have unofficially got
the assurance of aid/tuition waiver.
Please let me know.

i got i 20 from svu.but i dont have not gre/tofel/ielts or any score card. now how to face the interview question?how to answer it?pls anybody reply for it.so many people waiting for ur answer pls reply
I am from B.Tech back ground, i had Applied to do masters in Engineering management, and university gave Admission and sent I-20, if the interviewer asks why are doing masters in this field, even you are from B.Tech (ECE)? Can any one give me relevant answer, if interviewer asks that question
actually i have applied for MBA in Dowling college new york (USA) which GMAT is not require but i have given TOEFL got 92 out of 120 and my visa interview was on 29 july and that was refused due to GMAT and in interview she asked me about GMAT and she told me you are disqualify so please tell me the answer of this question so i can easily give the answer in my next interview.

HI iam from delhi . my VISA rejected Twice . i applied SSU california . I have done MCA & 3 year Exp wid IT MNC. now i want go for MBA. Got my I-20. 1st time due to some SEVIS issue but VO said u will not come back thats why i cant issue visa. Iam showing 3 crore 88 lac rupees in my CA statement . 2nd time VO said u have enough Qualification so u dont need MBA ... my frnd already got Visa in same university. plezzzz soem 1 help me ... i have taken 6 1/2 yrs to complete my Bachelors in mechanical engineering with 56.5 % and 31 backlogs. GRE score of 1150 and TOEFL 100. I have sound knowledge though in mechanical design and CAD concepts which i plan to do MS in..?? Do i have any chance ti get an F1..? What would the V.O ask me..?? ( if at all he decides to ask me something..?)

I have got my visa rejected for fake documents. In a sense, the money was removed from the account by the consultancy people whom I approached for visa on the interview day. Is there any possibility of getting visa now ? How should I defend myself if visa officer says mine r fake documents again ?
Hi, I have a visa interview tomm. I am applying for a F1 student visa. I have to attend school quickly and need my visa. My old passport got damaged. I applied for a new passport. Now will the visa authorities grant me a visa on my new passport or will they make a fuss and say that they would have to transfer the records from my old passport to my new passport and thus delay my process?
I am admitted in University of Colorado, Boulder for the telecommunications program along with some scholarship. My GRE is 1410 and TOEFL is 108 and a aggregate of 65% in engineering. I have reecived 4 other admits and only one reject(Had applied only to 6 univs.) I have to elder sisters , both are in the US., one is Green card holder and other is on H1B status. I am planning to take my interview date next month . I wanted to know what are my chances of Visa with this background? And if Rejected within how much time can I re-apply for the Visa??
