Hi I have applied for visitor visa to US to meet my brother
who is employed there.I have a minor child and aged parents
who will be accompanying me on the trip.My husband has
issued an NOC duly signed by him.I am attending my visa
interview next week.As my husband is a businessman who is
constantly in outstation, he will not be accompanying me
for the interview.I would like to know whether there is a
possibility of getting visa and what questions are likely
to be asked in the interview. Will my child also be
questioned.

What is your son in USA doing?
I applied for F1 a year back.Spouse name and DOB in F1 DS-156 is not matching with my currenct B1/B2 DS-156.is it a problem? Can any one please help me in comming out from this issue?Can this be a reason for VO in issuing me a 221g?

My sister-in-law is giving birth with my first nephew and first grandchild for my parents in a few months in the US. I am a single lawyer with the government and my parents are both retired government employees. Both of my brothers are american citizens. We want to take a short vacation and also to witness my nephews' birth. My parents and I went for a visa interview recently and were denied. The consulate only asked us few questions; 1. are you the only child left in the philippines? yes sir because I work here in the philipines. 2. And both of your parents are retired? yes sir. Then he said, Unfortunately, I cannot approve your application because you fail to show strong ties in the Philippines. We intend to apply again. Just in case the consul will asked us, what changed between the time of our first interview and now, can I politely say that we were not given the chance to show our strong ties in the philippines? How soon can we apply again? Is it better for us to have separate interviews, I alone and my parents together?

Dear Friends, I am 33 years old and working in a technical software industry. I am Workiing in India. I am holding 10 yr B1/B2 Visa valid till 2014. Can someone please share with me " how soon can one visit again on B2 visitor visa"???? and Secondly I am assuming that they will give 3 months initially...then can we extend it? hi.. Am Deepthi and am 23 yrs old.I finished my graduation just 3 months back. I got my admission in a Business school.I have two months break before my school starts. So i want to go to USA with tourist B2 visa and spend these two months with my brother who is working in USA. I already applied for tourist a visa just a week back and i got rejected. So my question is can i try for visa again in a week?.. How can i convince the visa officer that I'll surely come back. Becoz frankly i will surely come back as i should join my school after two months. Am going to show my MBA admission letter as my ties to INDIA. Please advice me about what should i say when they ask me "WHY DO YOU WANT TO GO TO USA?".. Last time they asked me the same question. A week back I had applied for B2 visa, as my husband is there in US for a short business trip on B1 visa. But they rejected my visa on clause 214(b).
