our Consinor Vat rate @14.5%(revised rate) In pujab , is the
same rate applicable in A.P.
Ex:I have billed 10 auto tubes each @ 120/- = 10*120=1200 +
vat 14.5% = 174 total bill value Rs.1374/-...can we collect
14.5% vat or 12.5%(in A.P.) vat from customer..

In India CST Rate of Tax is 3 per cent from 1.1.2007 to
31.5.2008 and 2 per cent from 1.6.2008 onwards which are
covered by C Forms. If the inter-State sales were not
covered by C Forms local VAT rate of the selling State is
applicable.

NO,the VAT rate will not be the same in A.P bcoz the VAT is
applicable based on state government.the rate prescribed in
the VAT Act may be varies from state to sate
