Arikamedu is the only archeological site where ancient city
structures are still intact under the ground along
ariyankuppam river. since malabar coast underwent massive
ecological changes historians have very little knowledge
about the most important Indian port which was Imperial
Romes biggest trade partner MUZIRIS. Thus Arikamedu is the
only surviving archeological indicator to great past
