I got the visa based on my admission in a university in Texas. That means that it is mentioned in my passport (visa page). Can i get entry into US from any other state other than Texas.i intend to go to my sis's place from where i will go to my university. My travel agent told i will not be allowed. Please anybody who did so and had any experience or news abt this

2373I’m waiting for my final SEM result for BE in Information Technology. I’m intending to carry on with my studies in master in CSE or IT in United States. I’ve two years of backlog one in first year of Diploma and second in First year (SECOND YEAR OF ENGG. Since diploma) of engineering. After diploma I was in some other university, but since I got a year drop I changed my university since I was finding it difficult to get adjusted and hence changed my university. Now, I’m about to complete my graduation but have a very low aggregate percentage with couple of DEAD ATKT. Now, will this affect my chances of getting admission in top 20 or 30 university of US even after passing GRE and TOFEL with high numbers or Even if I get admission will I be rejected in VISA interview or getting a job experience of 2 years along with couple of certifications, help me in any form which will increase my chances of getting admissions and also clearing VISA interview. Hello This is rahul.I got accepted in saint clod state university for Masters in engineering management program and i got funding too.My total i20 amount would be 6000 dollars yearly as i got scholarships. I actually had applied for 5 other universities but for electrical engineering program.Will they create a big problem for my visa?? I have a brother already there in USA who is about to complete his studies.Will showing my br0ther would result in rejection of my visa?Seeking help from you guys and a solution to takle this problem

i was rejected visa that i am vacant for 18 months .Can u suggest me what type of answer should i has to ive for this question.
i am planning to have 12 month OPT period after i graduate so when the consul asks me how long do u plan to stay in USA do i say i will stay xyzmonth(program duration)+12month(opt)? or in another word do i have to take a visa period that covers both the program and the opt or i can take a visa period for the program and then extend the visa for OPT? just to make it simpler: if my program length is 2 years do i have to tell the consul to give me a 3 years visa to cover the program and the opt or i can have only 2 years visa and then extend it in USA? And does saying that i want to have OPT to the consul can be a bad point as the consul may think that i will work in USA and never come back?or i should be fine?
