OOS & OOT terms are generally used by QC people at
production site. OOT stands for out of trend while OOS
stands for out of specification. These two values are on
the basis of specification level set by analytical person
at te time of testing & Method development for a particular
test. If any observation of the results goes out of trend
as per spec level then QC persons raise these terms.
