A BOM Explosion answers the question of :- what is the product made of ? & we need BOM Explosion when we want to:-
a)Determine material Requirement for a product.
b)Look at the overall structure of a product in a design department.
c)See an overview of the parts & material required.
d)Calculate the effect of changes to cost.
