ROI / Sulfated Ash Test is use to find out Inorganic Impurities.
At 600-800°c all the metal salts (Used as a catalyst in formation of Intermediates / API'S)(which are soluble) gets converted in to metal oxides (Insoluble and Highly Non volatile).
And final residue we get , of Metal Oxides which are Inorganic Impurities.
