Some solids do not dissolve when mixed with a liquid substance.The solid particles are large enough to settle at the bottom of the container.This type of mixture is called suspension.
To separate the solid parts in a solid-liquid suspension,the mixture filtered using filter paper.this process is called suspension.
Filtration is the process applied to separate the chalk powder from the water.Water passes through the filter paper while chalk powder trapped.
