Why don't electrons repel each other during the formation
of bond?????????
Answer Posted / msaqibtheumerkhel
According to Pauli's exclusion principle, two electrons with opposite spin can enter an orbital. Due to spin of one electron, magnetic field is produced. Due spin of second electron, an opposite magnetic field is produced i.e. North and south poles come across each other and thus attract each other. Since magnetic force is stronger than electrostatic force thus, attraction overcomes repulsion and the bond is formed, keeping the electrons in contact.
