different between LOD and M/C

Answer Posted / prasad.analyst1986

lod means loss on drying.mc means moisture content.by using
kf titrator we calculate mc by using kf titration we
calculate only moisture content in the sample.but by
performing LOD test we remove solvents present in the sample
below the mp of the sample.and another test loss on ignition
by using this test we remove solvent present in crystal
lattice of the sample.
