What does mean by SWAP? Where should we monitor this? what
is the threshold value for swaps/day? If it is more what
will u do?

Answer Posted / sreekanth

SWAP can be described as a resultant of memory insufficiency
in the SAP buffers/ shortage of no. of directories. existing
objects in buffer are thrown out to accumulate new objects.

This can be monitored in st02
I am not sure 4r threshold but i think it is 1000/day ...

if the swaps are more we need to increase the buffer
size/directory entries ...its not a 1 time activity.
