I am facing one problem in my layer 2 switch I don’t know
the problem is on switch side or client side. The problem is
some PC (not all) are stop participate in LAN they don’t
send or recd. Packet from switch and if I check RJ45 (with
LAN tester)from PC side the packet and 8 pin wire is working
fine and after that process of LAN tester I plug RJ 45 in PC
now PC start recd/ send packets what is the problem I don’t
understand even client side no virus found RJ45 is ok and
switch has no problem bcoz other PC is working fine Cable
(cat 5 ) is also fine bcoz I didn’t crimp again just check
in LAN tester and start working fine. Plz any one solve this
matter. And after lan tester process pc is working fine and
after 2 or 3 hour it again start same problem and again same
process lan tester I have used

Thanks Jitendera I was waiting Ur replay only. Tell me one think can STP work on layer2 switch also. In layer 3 we can check STP and block, forward port but in layer 2 can we I don’t think so. Yes u r right it may be traffic jam. But how I resolve that my that switch port is working fine there are on problem in that switch port. I have changed also. I don’t understand what the problem is. i can do this only but problem is same.. what shall i do. i have uninstll also but @restart pc driver detect and istall automatic also.even i have delete all driver files also plz resolve.

1st way

the 2nd way is like that

netwrok 192.168.0.0 0.0.255.255 area 0


but he inrodused the thrird way
like
router ospf 10
netwrok 192.168.00000001.0 < ?.?.?.?>area 0
router ospf 10
netwrok 192.168.00000010 area 0

now problem is that what should i put the mask in this way
so i puted ? sign

Two method u know very well. 3rd is like that

Suppose we have route in router area 1 is

192.168.1.0
192.168.2.0
192.168.3.0
192.168.4.0
192.168.5.0
192.168.6.0

Now we convert 3rd bit in binary
128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1

192.168.00000001.0
192.168.00000010.0
192.168.00000011.0
192.168.00000110.0
192.168.00000101.0
192.168.00000110.0

Now make a mask.
192(8bit).168(8bit).5bit(see zero).0

Now the 1 to 6 route ip is 192.168.0.0

And mask is 255.255.248(5bit of binary).0
Now the wild make is 0.0.7.255

Now the route of ospf is

Network 192.168.0.0 0.0.7.255
