Redundant Array of Independent Disks.
RAID is type of Volume that is been available when u want to
use the hard disk as Dynamic.Raid can be used when we have 3
or more hard-disks been connected to the system.Raid stores
all the information in the different hard-disk,it also
supports Tolerance, due to which the information which is
present in one of the hard-disk is crashed even though you
can retrieve the same information from other disks

RAID is a way of storing the same data in different places
(thus, redundantly) on multiple hard disks. By placing data
on multiple disks, I/O (input/output) operations can
overlap in a balanced way, improving performance.
