19 hours

A frog climbs 1 foot per 1 1/2 hours as during 30 minutes
rest he slips back 2 feet. This way he will climb 12 feet in
18 hours. In next hour he will climb 3 more feet i.e. he
will complete 15 feet in 19 hours and will reach the top of
the wall.

A frog climbe 1 feet in 90 min = 1.5 hrs.

for 1 feet 1.5 hrs
for 12 feet x hrs

then,
x = (12*1.5)/1
= 18 hr.
for 12 feet, 18 will require.

now 15 - 12 = 3 feet are needed to reach at top.
now, frog will climbe 3 feet in 1 hr and will reach at top.

Total hrs required are 19.

Answer / dhanapal

My answer is 25 hrs and 50 mins.

He can claim 3 ft in an hour and rest for 30 mins. that means he takes 1 hrs and 30 mins to claim 1ft (i.e. 1.5hr). So he wil take 25hrs and 30 mins (i.e. 25.5) till 17 ft.

Now we have hint that he can claim 3 ft in an hour. so no need to take rest after 1 ft. (3/1 = 20 mins). so if Add 20 mins with 25 hr and 30 hrs will get 25 hrs and 50mins.

Dhanapal
