if some disk groups are in braces it means that disk group
is a deported disk group or it is used by another system.

Basically the big difference is how the software handles
the load balancing between the paths. DMP does it through a
round robin approach and powerpath does it by knowing which
path is the least loaded. Also powerpath will fail back a
path once it becomes available
