A lorry averages 55mph for the first 4 hours of a trip and averages 70 mph for each additional hou..

Answer / monu jain

answer is 6 hours and 360 miles

55*4 = 220 miles

and as the average speed is 60 then the total distance
should be multiple of 60 only

each additional hour has a average of 70 means we will add
70 in 220 till multiple of 60 is not coming

then 220+70 = 290/6 =48.3 not multiple
then 220+70+70 = 360/6 = 60 multiple

means total distance is of 360 kms and by average speed of
60 it will consume 360/60 = 6 hours
