I met a friend through the internet. He's from USA and older
than me. We've been online together for 2 years now. We now
decided to meet up. Despite disapproval from my family, we
still want to be together. So we planning that i go to USA
and be together with him, and cause i'm only 20yrs old, i
myself still want to study. He said he's going to sponsor me
in the USA. We'll meet in May soon. My family won't sponsor
me of course. My questions are,
1. What if the interviewer ask who gonna sponsor me, what
shud i say? And if i say my US boyfriend, bet my visa will
get rejected cause they wud think i go to USA to be with my
boyfriend and not to study.
2.To grant the visa, would they check for the approval of my
family first?
3. I'm from Malaysia, and from what i know, the success rate
of visa interview are higher, for those who apply from
countries that have lower/lowest populations students in US
schools? Is it true?

1.) You can say he is one of your relations who does not have any blood relationship. (Uncle,Cousin) Unlike UK, AUS, US does not emperzie on blood relationships.
2.) Since you are 20+ they will not, until you are capable of convincing them about your sponsor.

hello everyone I have a question which is making me tense as I have visa interview in next 2 days.I am a current student from virginia international university with F-1 visa.Due to some reasons I am going to attend visa again before it got expired.Unfortunately I couldn't drop my documents because i have transferred my university.Now,as I have interview in 2 days I am worried about this question.I will be thankful if anyone could suggest any conveniencing aswers for this question. Hi m smaran m applyng for Bridgeport I completed. My btech in 07 after which I works for satyam bpo for 1year n for bank of America for 1year but I scored 54.98% in engg n 930 gre ang 6bands in ielts so do u thnk I vl get the visa.
