it depends upon the the number of people applied and
computer literacy. no one can predict the cutoff
marks/percentage

Yes Mr.Narasimha is correct. It only depends upon the number
of people applying. For Eg if 75% is the highest percentage
scorer among the overall applicant for PO then they will
take 75%74.95%,74.90% and so on even a single.05 will also
affect our selection. That's why they ask two decimal places
of Percentage of marks.I got an information also that they
will call for interview in 1:5 ratio that is for one post
they will call 5 person for interview.if there were 30 posts
they will call 150 persons for interview. But iam not sure
about it.If any deny my opinion please express your view.

Kaka if you don't know something ,don't give a Stupid answer
like this.Suppose according to your answer they are going to
select a canditate who is getting 93% they don't have a
Clerk and PO for thier bank.Because it is impossible to get
93%.May be one or two will get this percentage, that too
impossible.Next time when you write answer don't say 93%,say
100%,Ok. I think you are trying to demotivate the canditates
who were applying .Don't do that.Percentage of marks depends
upon number of people of applying. They were not fixing any
percentage of marks for this. Please try to give some logical
answer.

Mr.Anand,I agree with your answer.I had another doubt Some
of them answer that they are going to shortlist the
canditates according to degree for eg BE or M.C.A will given
preference than any arts or science degree. Is it true. What
about the procedure for shortlisting for Clerks.Anybody
knows Please answer.

Answer / anand.g
Mr.Narasimha is right at about 90% and the interviews ratio
will be only 1:3/2 thats because they cant interview for
1300 POs members of about 6500 students ok it is
painstaking so it might be 1:3 and the cut off will be
based on no of applicants and computer literacy and thae
profession they fit into like suppose agriculture
background they can fit snuggly into farm loans and also
computer if they have certified computer coursesin their UG
programmes and Btech students they can handle the accounts
and also if trained specially can do other banking
activities it goes on like that.and no experience is
required for POs as mentioned .For interviews we have to
prepare your basic subject first later go on for critical
questions like why to join this.tell me ur strenghts
weakness.why should we employ u why cant other person like
that many in google search u can find search and
prepare.thank u .bye

Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? I am currently a PO in SBI. Compared to that, can you kindly inform me: 1) Is the chance to be allocated to your home state more in RBI? 2)Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? 3) Is the salary, job satisfaction, comparable workload, pension etc substantially better in RBI than in SBI?
