Thicker candle last 6 hours smaller one 4. Both candles are
same length when started now thicker one is twice as large
as smaller one. Thicker candle will still have 2 hours
left of burning when smaller one is done. 6-4=2. At 5
hours for thicker candle their would be 3 hours left for
thinner candle. At 4 hours left for thicker candle thinner
candle has 2 hours left. At 3 hours left for thicker
candle thinner one has 1 hour left. At 2 hours left for
thicker canldle thinner one would be done. Therefore one
would conclude that at 4 hours for thicker candle leaves 2
hours for thinner one. Thicker candle has 6 hours so 6-2=4
and thinner 4-2=2 and 2 is 1/2 of 4 so answer is 2 hours.
