Hi All My H1B Visa for 2008 got approved notice. waiting for docuemnts from consultant I just want to know what is the status of the H1 VIsa interview candidates going through Consultancy what are the barriers they are facing and how to come up Can we select our preferred city for getting stamped i heard chennai is tuf.. if so what is the highest success embassy in India hoping for the best naga

My certificates(10+2 onwards) are having the Surname of my parents mentioned but my Passport(which was made based on 10th certificate where even my name was without surname and I made it after changing my name adding the surname) is not having the surname of my parents mentioned. My question is, will it be a problem for me when I apply the H1B visa? I do have the US B1 visa. Now, If I change my passport for the correction, will I have to change anything else apart from the Passport as well? Please reply me on jp1985verma@yahoo.co.in

My H1B interview is scheduled next month. For docs relating to previous employer, I got only offer letter and experience cert only. I used to get salary in cash. I dont have pay slips also.
