Both are Name servers.DNS-Domain Name server,is a computer
which resolves domain name to IP address(forward lookup)and
IP address to Domain name(Reverse lookup).
WINS-Windows Internet Naming Server, is a computer used to
reduce the broad cost.

internet nameing service)wins resole onle netbios(the name
without extensing ex. yahoo) name,but dns resole netbios
and as well as dnsname also.

into ip address and ip address into host name.
WINS stands for windows internet name servce, WINS resolves
NETBIOS name into ip address and ip address into NETBIOS name.
