My sister-in-law is giving birth with my first nephew and first grandchild for my parents in a few months in the US. I am a single lawyer with the government and my parents are both retired government employees. Both of my brothers are american citizens. We want to take a short vacation and also to witness my nephews' birth. My parents and I went for a visa interview recently and were denied. The consulate only asked us few questions; 1. are you the only child left in the philippines? yes sir because I work here in the philipines. 2. And both of your parents are retired? yes sir. Then he said, Unfortunately, I cannot approve your application because you fail to show strong ties in the Philippines. We intend to apply again. Just in case the consul will asked us, what changed between the time of our first interview and now, can I politely say that we were not given the chance to show our strong ties in the philippines? How soon can we apply again? Is it better for us to have separate interviews, I alone and my parents together?
I am an army officer i applied for tourist visa last 2013 but got denied. During the interview i wear formal civilian clothes and not much questions was ask by the consul. I have relatives in the US as my contact person. What should i do to pass the interview and get the visa?
I and my husband gave interview on 19th march. We were rejected due to financial tie. we hose bank balance of 42000.00 dhs in my account & my husband account 32000.00 At that time we were sendin Indi. Now we stopped to send there and doing saving here. We both are woking in uae. We are not interested to stay more in USA. Now our 2nd interview on 9th. we planned our trip to us on june 15th 2009(booked the roundtrip ticket). we got an appoinment on june 8th 2009 for the interview.we can show all the documents clearly.but my doubt is only with the financial background.At present we saved 65000sr.could anyone say howmuch we have to show in our account for the interview or this money is enough.expecting a reply fast. thanks maya
