an affidavit of support at the Immigration and
Naturalization Service there but the officer told him that
I should be the one to process my visitor visa application
with my own documents. Does it mean Affidavit of support or
invitation letter is not a requirement for applying a
Visitor Visa coming from the Philippines? and will the bank
deposit of $1,100.00 enough for my 3 days stay in the USA
because my friend will be responsible for all of my
expenses including the airfare? Thanks for the answers.

I will be travelling to the U.S, LA in 22 January 2010. I will hve to another ceremony on 15th May , other ceremony on 21st July. I hve a support of affadavit gor the visit. But the stay exceeds the limit. Is there any way to extend my stay til August 2010? I hve visited US in 1997. Should I eneter in January and return to India? Will I be allowed to enter in April again?

My mother went for the interview for a B2 visa, all the documents were comepleted and i know B2 visas hardly gets rejected if the documents are complete. She was rejected a visa basis her salary which is pretty low as compared to her experience. She earns about 17 K in a month on papers. The consular said that her 15 year work ex with same company and less salary makes her not fit for a B2 visa. Is this a rule, if not, where can we file a grievance.
Dear Friends, I am 33 years old and working in a technical software industry. I am Workiing in India. I am holding 10 yr B1/B2 Visa valid till 2014. A week back I had applied for B2 visa, as my husband is there in US for a short business trip on B1 visa. But they rejected my visa on clause 214(b). Am thinking of applying again after a week more(After a gap of 15 days). But wondering how probable are my chances of getting the visa this time? Shud I wait for some more time?
