Hi all , Today i attended the US B1 visa interview in chennai and unfortunately got rejected .They questions which were asked to me was: 1.Where place you are going? 2.Why you are going? 3.How many years of experience you have ? 3.My annual income? i answered all the questions confidently but i feel that i got rejected because of my years of experience and my income.I'm a fresher and having just 8 months of experience ? Does experience and annual income matter a lot?

I've gone for the interview twice and I got rejected both the times. It was due to 214(b)-Potential immigrant. I'm applying for the VISA from abroad since my parents work abroad and I've done my schooling here. I got properties in India and my mom has got a job in India as well(on long leave). How do I convince the VO I will return back?

I have done my B.E in jan 2011 instead of completing in april 2010.i have 15 backlogs ,GRE score is 930,toefl score is 90, and with aggregate of 64% I played nationals while am studying my 12th.can you please suggest me when VO ask abt my backlogs.........

I am admitted in University of Colorado, Boulder for the telecommunications program along with some scholarship. My GRE is 1410 and TOEFL is 108 and a aggregate of 65% in engineering. I have reecived 4 other admits and only one reject(Had applied only to 6 univs.) I have to elder sisters , both are in the US., one is Green card holder and other is on H1B status. I am planning to take my interview date next month . I wanted to know what are my chances of Visa with this background? And if Rejected within how much time can I re-apply for the Visa??

I got f1 visa rejected in dec'10, at t5hat time i did not mentioned my immediate uncles's name in Ds160 form who lives in US and has a citizenship.Now i am applying 2nd time. Do i have to mention his name although in first interview i told visa officer i do not have immediate relative in US? Is this the reason of my rejection? I am confused!!! please answer!!!!

I am currently working with well known US based MNC since last 3 years but I want to pursue my masters. I have got an admit from MST,rolla (US) for this fall semester and I am planning to appear visa interview this monthend. Hi, I went to the USA in Feb 2008 on an H4 visa, there i applied and got an H1 visa. However for some reason i had to get back to my country- India in Nov 2008 - Now, i am going back to the USA next month as my husband has got a job opportunity there. I have a few queries : If i go on my H4 Visa, will my H1 visa still be valid? Should i go for a stamping againg for my H4 visa. My H4 will expire only in the later months, do i still need to get it stamped in my scenerio I do not have a job currently in the US. can i go on my dependant Visa as my husband is in the US. Look for a job and then get my Visa stamped . Please suggest.

I have got an I-20. But due to some paper problem i am not able to take an interview date for M1 us visa and my i20 is going to expire on 27th July (before i have to report). What should i do now. It will take time to complete my paper work. Should i get new i20 or is there any way to extend it?
