The amount of DMEM and L-glutamine required for a tissue culture depends on the specific cell type, growth requirements, and experimental conditions. Generally, 10% FBS (Fetal Bovine Serum) is added to 90% DMEM for maintaining most adherent cell lines. For glutamine, it is often supplemented at a concentration of 2 mM.
