1.the absorbance of the analyte peak should not be saturate either below or above 1000 milli absorance Unit.
2. if go for diluted standard level the analyte peak absorbance response should same compare to your high level absorbance response.
3. if you calculate the result either %area normalization or diluted standard level the result should same.
in this case, only we can proceed %area normalization method.
