AR&D, Am Having one problem While doing method development
my question Metadoxine and Pyridoxine same chemical nature
and structural activity i tried lot of methods but Analyte
eluted same Retantion time i cant separate both peaks.
solubility, pH both are same only only difference melting
point metadoxine 210 C Pyridoxine 102 C please do the help

Dear ,
I thing you want to isolate both compound , You can try
derivatization method using bezoyl chloride or densyl
chloride . Bezoyl chloride will react with only metadoxine
and it will eluted late on HPLC . This way must work .
Benzoy chloride will react at RT only

My question about gas chromatography sulfur chemiluminsecence detector. I test unknown sample gas by GC-SCD (calibrated ) and the result of *H2S is 279 PPM , *but when I test the same sample with the GC-TCD (calibrated ) the value of *H2S is 2500 PPM . I'd like to inform you that both GCs are calibrated and have very good operation conditions with stable parameters . the question is if the sample gas with higher H2S over detection limits of SCD detector (1000 ppm). why the result it 279 ppm Best regards
