A Theoretical plate is an imaginary/hypothetical line/unit
of a column where the distribution of solute between
stationary phase and mobile phase should attained equilibrium.
theoretical plates is considered as the functional unit of
the column.
if more the no.of theoretical plates, the column is said to
be highly efficient.
