GSM stands for Global system for Mobile Communication and
CDMA stands for Code Division Multiple Access.
In CDMA mobile phone instruments are dedicated to the any service provider.but,GSM mobile phone instruments are portable across service providers through SIM cards.GSM
uses tdma & fdma techniques as access mechanism.but,CDMA uses cdma techniques as access mechanism.
