what is the difference of use of LOD test and Karl Fischer

In LOD We can measure loss of Volatile solvent (depend on
their boiling point)and also loss of adsorbed water (upto
some extent). In karl fischer we can find total content of
water, whether it is adsorbed or absorbed.
