How to migrate .rdf file from dev instance to test instance?

Normal procedure is download that .rdf from dev
instance server (appldev/ap/12.0/Reports/US)
and FTP it to testing instance (appltest/ap/12.0/Reports/US).
this procedure will be done normally after applying
ldts in testing instance.
