calibration is the set of operations under specified
conditions that establishes a relationship between the
values of quantities indicated by the measuring instrument
or system and the corresponding values indicate by the
standard and to adjust if any deviations are observed to
bring into tolerance limitsi.e. this is basically the
comparision of process against a standard.
verification means to verify something against some set of
standards to find out whether it meets the requirements or
not.it is only an act of checking bt no adjustment has to be
done.
