How will you select mobile phase in HPLC Method Development

based on the pka value of compound. if ur compound have pka
is about 3. u can select ur mobile phase about ph 5-14.but
due to the less column selectivity in basic media u can
select 5-8 pH. preferred by the different salt buffering
capacity.
