What is the main difference between GSM & CDMA?

GSM is a Global System for Mobile Communication.Which allow
all the the network connection. Example: In GSM handset u
can take Airtel or Vodafone or Reliance or Idea.etc.network
connection for the same handset.
But CDMA is a code division mutiple acces .Which allows only
one network connection. Example if u have taken Reliance
CDMA connection,then u cant use CDMA handset for other
network connection (Vodafone,Idea etc..).
