ipv6 devide in sections
ipv6 depends upon neighbor discovery,autoconfiguration,multicastlistener discovery and path MTU discovery
there will be the fewer ipv6 addresses than the theoritical maximum is that each 64 bit no will include the mac addrs of the host while incorporating the h/w addrs cuts down the available nos.it makes it more efficient and useful.
there are three section
-global routing prefix
-subnet id(organise site)
-interface id(mac address)
