500 men are arranged in an array of 10 rows and 50 columns
according to their heights.
Tallest among each row of all are asked to come out. And
the shortest among them is A.
Similarly after resuming them to their original positions,
the shortest among each column are asked to come out. And
the tallest among them is B.
Now who is taller A or B ?

Take this example.
For Example, among 500 men, 10 men are 180cm tall and rest
490 men are 150cm tall.
The ten 180 cm tall men stand along the main diagonal.Like
1st row , 1st column one 180cm tall man stand. 2nd row, 2nd
column the next 180 cm tall man stand and so on till the
10th row, 10th column.
Each row has exactly one 180cm tall man and 49 150 cm tall men.
And in each column till 10th exactly one 180 cm tall man
stands and from columns 11 till 50 all are 150 cm tall men.
Now tallest among each row, is 10 180cm tall men. And
shortest among them is 180cm tall.
The shortest among each column, is 50 150 cm tall men. And
the tallest among them is 150cm tall.
Now A = 180 and B=150
which proves A is taller than B.
