There is a 5digit no. 3 pairs of sum is eleven each.
Last digit is 3 times the first one.
3 rd digit is 3 less than the second.
4 th digit is 4 more than the second one.
Find the digit.

Answer Posted / ajay singh thakur and rahul ku

let the five digit number is
ABCDE
it is given that
E=3*A .......(1)
C=B-3 .......(2)
D=B+4 .......(3)
if pairs have sum 11 then possible pairs are
9+2
8+3
7+4
6+5
thus the required number contains only these 8 digits
from this we can say that AE,BC and DB cannot be the pairs
by applying operation eq(3)-eq(2) we get
D-C=7 .......(4)
for eq(4) let us check the first possible combination 9+2
obviously this satisfies eq(4)with D=9 and C=2
now from eq(2)and eq(3)
B=5
so our number is A529E
now the possible values of A and E are 2 and 6
so from eq(1) it is clear that A=2 and E=6
thus the required number is 25296 which satisfies the given conditions.
