There are five thieves, each loot a bakery one after the
other such that the first one takes 1/2 of the total no.
of the breads plus 1/2 of a bread. Similarly 2nd, 3rd,4th
and 5th also did the same. After the fifth one no. of
breads remained are 3. Initially how many breads were there?

After 5th man 3 bread remained implies twice no. of (breads
minus half) available b4 him
there are (3-0.5) x 2 = 5 breads available before him
for 4th man
(5-0.5)x2=9
for 3rd man
(9-0.5)x2=17
for 2nd man
(17-0.5)x2=33
for 1st man
(33-0.5)x2=65
dats total 65 breads available
