How does the frangipani plant disperse their seeds?

The fruiting structure of the frangipani is known as a
follicle and is somewhat peculiar, looking like two
perpendicular sausages on a stick. These follicles then dry
out, split and release the winged seeds for dispersal and
eventual germination.
