let the no of bullets each hav be x
then after firing 4 bullets
each hav x-4 bullets
so,x-4+x-4+x-4=x
3x-12=x;
x=6
so the number of bullets each hav is 6.
3 persons mens 3*6=18
the total number of bullets is 18(ans)
