Generated Prompt is a prompt which is made on data type of
Query Item. For Example Go Sales and Retails Package take
Product Line and then click on Build Prompt Page, then by
default Value Prompt would be displayed.
When you don't know which prompt would be suitable to
desired Query Item.

Can you define a catalog and types of catalogs in cognos?
After applying date prompt and when we run the report we
fet from date and todate prompts..so when we enter
todate What is the deployment requirements used in cognos? Why cognos scenario is used? What actually a project contains? Why is auto-regression used in forecasting used on cognos platform? i'm searching on cognos..i want to know real time
