what is the difference between LT and HT power supply?

“Low tension (LT)” means a voltage that does not exceed 1000 volts under normal
conditions subject to the percentage variation as may be specified by the Central
Electricity Authority from time to time.

“High tension (HT)” means a voltage higher than 1000 volts and which does not
exceed 33,000 volts under normal conditions subject to the percentage variation as
may be specified by the Central Electricity Authority from time to time.
