Scope of analysis will work based on the hierarchy which is set..Hierarchy will allow the developer to set the objects based on the requirements. eg :- Year -->Quatre --> Month-->Week -->Day. This is useful for the Drill down,drill up and Drill through analysis.

Q) How do we test the Report Results in BO web intelligence(3.1 version). Let me explain my question clearly.
my Data Source is Orcle on top of dis i made one universe with some tables later i created a query with some objects like Country,Year,Revenue in webi, so now i ll get some reults right,so now how would i know whether i m getting accurate results from data base or not ?(i dont hav any filters,restrictions on universe) If anybody know d process please expalin me.

Copy the query generated in the BO and run in your database and check the count of records.

So you need to create the blocks in view structure option in web intelligence and right click the blocks for align option then click on relative position option.A new window with top,left,below and up options are available.If we set the measurements accordingly then the blocks wont overlaps
