While packing some return gifts, a mother decides to put
some toffees in each gift packet. If she keeps 5 toffees in
each packet, she is left with none. But if she keeps 2, 3 or
4 toffees in a packet, she is left with 1 toffee . What is
the minimum number of toffees that she needs?

Answer

first choose the max nimber ie 4
4 x 6 = 24
3 x 8 = 24
2 x 12 = 24
(maximum divisiblity leaving 1 as remanider for 25)
therefore 25 is the answer

weighing 1.75pounds. If each pole weighs .07 pound and each
piece of net weighs .12 pounds. What is the weight of empty box

weight of total = 12 x .07 = .84
weight of total = 7 x .12 = .84
total = 1.68

the wieght of the box = 1.75 - 1.68 = .07
