The Reserve Bank of India is the central bank of India, was established on April 1, 1935 in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The Reserve Bank of India was set up on the recommendations of the Hilton Young Commission. The commission submitted its report in the year 1926, though the bank was not set up for nine years. To regulate the issue of Bank Notes and keeping of reserves with a view to securing monetary stability in India and generally to operate the currency and credit system of the country to its advantage." Banker to the Government: performs merchant banking function for the central and the state governments; also acts as their banker. Banker to banks: maintains banking accounts of all scheduled banks.

I am currently working In Asian Paints as Officer In Presidents Office. My monthly remuneration is 15000+. I have been selected In SBI as a clerk. Their is confusion whether I should join or continue with my current job. In AP though they are paying more their are very negligible chances of growth because of the profile I hold. Right now I am 25 yrs old should I join SBI also can anyone let me know whether pay will increase after completion of probation period in the bank.

I have been selected for SBP but I have also had interviews in Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank. I am a bit confused whether to join or wait for other results to come out because according to the SBI advertisement selected candidates have to work in shifs if required and also travel if necessary. Can anybody tell me what is the notice period in SBP.
When will be the SBI clerical results expected to be declared for which written held on 6th July? Note:please don't post any "guess" or "may be" dates here.. i request you..so plz, if you know the correct date post it..thanks in advance..
