IT IS THE TOPMOST LAYER OF THE OSI LAYERS BECAUSE THERE HAS
TO BE SOME DATA CREATED IN ORDER TO SEND IT. ALL OTHER
LAYERS HELPS THIS DATA GET TO THE OTHER END, WHICH AGAIN
FINALLY IS THE APPLICATION LAYER.

Hi,
In OSI Layer there are 7 layers on Source Side and 7 layers
on Destination Side and this concept is mapped in VIceVersa
direction.On Source side Application layer is always serial
no 1 and while on destination side it is converted to
serial no 7 as to travel from Source to destination the
application layer has to pass overcome all the remaining 6
layers and reach destination layer with serial no 7.
